NuFact 03: Housing

Columbia University has negotiated rates with several New York City hotels. They are not necessarily near Columbia, but the extensive public transportation in New York City will enable you get to Columbia with a minimal amount of walking. Information about the hotels and rates can be found here. When making reservations, be sure to say that you are attending a Columbia university sponsored event when making the reservations, and ensure that you receive the quoted rate. Please make your reservations as soon as possible to ensure room availability.

On-campus housing is available. For information, go to http://www.columbia.edu/cu/reshalls/confpage/, and to sign up, go to http://www.urh.columbia.edu/conference/conferenceform.html. For "Name of Conference Group," select "NuFact '03 - Carman." Note that you will be prompted about whether you want to accept their security certificate; just say "OK." If you want to be extra careful, the SHA1 fingerprint of the certificate is 1F:74:4F:0D:13:1E:98:A1:8B:B1:C6:45:B6:64:AC:45:67:8B:12:8C. They will charge a one night deposit around May 1. Again, we recommend making your reservations as soon as possible, so as to guarantee room availability.
