Dear All,

I am very pleased to announce that Diktys Stratakis has agreed to take over as
coordinator for our MAP Weekly Meetings. We have a great deal to accomplish
in the coming months and these meetings will play an important part in keeping
the collaboration informed. Please join me in welcoming Diktys to this new role.
I would also like to say thank you to Tom Schwarz for having done a wonderful
job as coordinator up until his departure to the University of Michigan. Please
also join me in wishing Tom all the best in his new position!

While on the topic of the MAP Weekly Meetings, please note that we would like to
hold a meeting tomorrow (July 20) for those who can attend. Sorry for the short
notice, but next week will be an off week while NuFACT 2012 is underway. Thus
we don't want to delay further in providing an opportunity to discuss the closeout
comments and recommendations from the MuPAC Review and briefly describe
our plans for the upcoming DOE review (August 29-31 at Fermilab). I hope you
can join us.

Finally, since MAP is such a widely spread enterprise, we are working on some
new tools to help enhance the communication within the collaboration. One of
these tools is a "Director's Column" that will appear weekly, where I or an invitee,
will address a topic of current interest to the collaboration. These articles will be
available at: http://map.fnal.gov/directors-column/
The first one is now posted and discusses last week's MuPAC Review.

With Best Regards,
Mark
