Those of you interested in using a supercomputer at NERSC may want to attend
this course. MAP has a reasonable allocation of time on Hopper, a Cray
supercomputer at NERSC. Both ICOOL and G4beamline have been installed.
You do not need a NERSC account for the training via this link (Sep. 10):

NERSC will present a four-hour training for new users on Sep. 10, 2013 from
10:00 to 14:00 PDT. This event is targeted at first-time users of NERSC and will
help them navigate the center and its systems.

NERSC Oakland Scientific Facility.

There is no registration for the online event.

opportunity to take a tour of the NERSC machine room. NERSC's facility is
located at 415 20th Street, Oakland, CA. The building is easily accessible from
the BART 19th Street station.
