Minutes of TB phone meeting, March 2, 2011

Attending: S. Geer, M. Zisman, R. Fernow, D. Hartill, A. Bross (on the phone), K. McDonald, D. Kaplan, J. Tompkins, D. Li, Scott Berg, Yağmur Torun, B. Palmer, J. Gallardo.

1. Y. Torun reported on the MTA schedule and plans for the remainder of FY 2011. (click here)
2. M. Zisman reported on preliminary conclusions and recommendation on the MICE spectrometer solenoid. The committee will issue its recommendations at the end of this month. The present status of the coupling coils was also described; in addition possible alternatives were presented to satisfy MAP's commitments.
3. J.S. Berg reported on a preliminary assessment of the man power needed to accomplish MAP's commitments to the IDR of the IDS. (click here)
4. M. Zisman reported on the budget for the remainder of the FY 2011. Series of administrative steps to follow after the submission of Statement of work and milestones from Institutions before the request is send to DoE. It is expected that this will be done at the end of the month.
