ICOOL

Welcome to the new home for ICOOL. Up through 2012, ICOOL was written and maintained by Rick Fernow. J. Scott Berg will be maintaining ICOOL starting in 2013. Please inform me of any bugs, feature requests, etc. A ZIP file of the latest ICOOL (version 241021) is available here, along with a PDF of the documentation for that version. The ZIP file contains the ICOOL source and source code for some auxiliary programs, a UNIX Makefile, and a PDF file for the documentation. Note that Windows executables are no longer being included. The simplest method for building on Windows is to install MSYS2, and install its mingw-w64-ucrt-x86_64-gcc-fortran package. Under MacOS, you can install HomeBrew, then install its gcc package, or install MacPorts, and install its latest gcc package (currently gcc14).

Older releases are here:

The ZIP files contain the ICOOL source and source code for some auxiliary programs, a UNIX Makefile, Windows executables for ICOOL and ECALC9F, and a PDF file for the documentation. I have supplied 32 bit and 64 bit Windows executables, though the 64 bit executable seems to only provide modest performance benefits.

Older versions

Several of Rick's most recent versions can be found here. Rick had some final patches to version 330, and I am calling that version 331, which is in this ZIP file. The main change was an update to the delta ray logic.
