Basic Information

Dates: January 25–28, 2009

Hotel: We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn Emeryville. This block of rooms will be released on December 25, so make your reservations now! Click Local Info in the navigation bar for instructions.

Registration: There is no registration fee. However, participants must register to gain site acccess. A list of participants will be given to the guard at the gate so that you will be allowed access to the lab site. Please register as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, January 9. Remember, the block of rooms for the conference hotel will be released much earlier, on December 25, so be sure to take care of your hotel reservation as soon as possible!

Banquet and Lunch: There will be a banquet Tuesday evening at Venezia Cafe, 1799 University Ave. at 7 PM. The cost will be $50 per person including tip, paid at the conference by cash or a check drawn from a U.S. bank. Those attending should have indicated their menu choices to Mike Zisman by now. On most days, participants can eat lunch at the cafeteria, but on Sunday the cafeteria is closed, so lunch will be provided at a cost of approximately $10 per person, paid in cash the first morning. Participants should sign up for these options on the registration form.
